Pittenweem in the East Neuk of Fife
All of these shots are from over the outer harbour.
The eastern end of the harbour with the abbey wall in the top left. The gold circle in the bottom right is interesting and is part of an old arts festival project.
The photo above and the three below were taken looking towards the harbour entrance.
In two of the photos you can easily see Anstruther just a mile or so away to the east.
This is a closer view of the above photo to show the entrance to St Fillan's Cave.
St Fillan was, seemingly, the patron saint of the mentally ill. Obviously a busy chap.
That's not water reflecting in the top left, it's plastic sheeting over early crops.
From the south-western end of the village.
That's Anstruther in the distance.
The same are from the north-east.
Again, as with Elie, more photos need to be taken from the south-west of the village when the light improves in the spring.
