Port Appin - The Pierhouse Hotel
north of Oban, Argyll & Bute
A few views of one of the excellent hotels in Port Appin, right next to the ferry to Lismore.
The Pierhouse Hotel has superb food, great views and first rate accommodation.
It used to be the Pier Master's house and is right next to the water's edge, as the name suggests.
Port Appin is on the west coast of Scotland, a few miles north of Oban on Loch Linnhe, just off the coast road to Ballachulish and on the way to Castle Stalker.
This view is looking northwards.
As you can see in the photos there's ample parking for day visitors as well as those choosing to stay overnight.
This view is looking south.
A panorama showing the car park behind the hotel.
This view is also looking south.
