Western Gailes Golf Club
South of Irvine, North Ayrshire
This view shows the clubhouse, looking from over the dunes.
You can see the clubhouse, the starter's hut, the first tee and the 18th green, as well as the practice putting green and a few happy golfers enjoying the sunshine.
From a little closer in.
Also in this picture are the paper mill at Irvine, the Hillhouse quarry on Dundonald Hill and you can clearly see Dundonald Castle as well.
The golf course on the far side of the railway is Dundonald Links.
A wider view.
A little more of an angle, looking south-east.
