Paddle Steamer Waverley - at Largs and Greenock - 2021
The Paddle Steamer Waverley leaving Largs in July 2021.
Back on the water again (for now) and carrying passengers on trips around the Clyde.
The Waverley has had a hard time over the last few years.
Passing the north end of Cumbrae with Bute, Arran and Argyll behind.
A few minutes earlier, still moored at Largs pier.
This was taken from about a half mile away (800 metres north at Aubury Crescent) looking south into the light.
Looking towards Argyll & Bute from Greenock shore on a miserable day with scudding showers
and occasional bright spots of sunlight.
In the distance is Strone Point (between the Holy Loch and Loch Long) with the Rosneath
peninsula and the edge of Kilcreggan on the right. Taken looking north-west.
