The Battery Park is in Greenock and is named after the aerial gunnery post protecting the nearby docks and shipyards that was in this area during the Second World War.
These are the main buildings with the cafe and toilets.

In the distance is Helensburgh and to the left behind the freighter is the Rosneath Peninsula protecting the entrance to the Gairloch.
