Western Gailes Golf Club

You can see the clubhouse, the starter's hut, the putting green, the first tee and
the 18th green. This taken looking east.
Behind are the railway line between Troon (south, right) and Irvine (north, left),
Dundonald Links golf course (with the new clubhouse) and behind that
is the Meadowhead paper mill.
This wider view shows the car park (busy on a Tuesday afternoon) and the greenkeepers'
buildings to the right.

The 7th hole (par 3, 198 yards, back tee) running from the three tees at the top of the photo to the green below the camera.
Note the evil position of the pin and the serious drop from the course down to the beach below. Five pot bunkers and
it looks like the guy in the pink shirt is in one of them while his playing partner looks for his ball, short of the green.
