Behind are the railway line between Troon (south, right) and Irvine (north, left), Dundonald Links golf course (with the new clubhouse) and behind that is the Meadowhead paper mill.

Note the evil position of the pin and the serious drop from the course down to the beach below. Five pot bunkers and it looks like the guy in the pink shirt is in one of them while his playing partner looks for his ball, short of the green.
