Taken on a dull day in February 2025 these are photos of the site for the new
watersports centre, planned to be built at Barassie Shore, Troon.
A planning application was lodged just before Christmas, 2024 but there's no certainty whether or not and when it may be built.

As a VERY rough guide, the red lines are the approximate boundary of the project and
the green lines the general shape of the single-story building.
The intention is to cater for beach-based watersports and for a small takeaway café with tables outside and on the roof. It's described as being for community use and will be run mostly by volunteers.
That said, plans can change. We'll try to keep these photos updated as events unfold.
This project is different entirely from the bar/restaurant plans for further along the shore, also at the planning stage. That site is just visible at the top left of the first photo.
