You can easily see the structure of the wheel and the boats in both the top and
bottom caissons, ready for the wheel to revolve and swap them over.
A view looking directly along the top - Union - canal. This angle shows
the repetition of the semi-circular and circular patterns which is not at
all obvious from ground level.
It gets pretty busy when there are four tourist boats on the canal at the
same time.
