Dundonald Links - Irvine, North Ayrshire
Two recent views (May 2021).
The construction of the new clubhouse is well underway and some of the
many planned lodges are already in place and in use.
This view is looking south and there are four of the new lodges on the left
and several more (with many others seen as foundations) in the middle distance.

The construction of the new clubhouse was due to begin and we'll get
new and updated photographs as soon as possible. For once (see above) that
A tighter crop and closer in shows how much the local paper mill
dominates the scene.

The contours of the fairways and greens are all pretty similar to the
ones in this photo. It's a links type course though not strictly speaking
running along the shoreline.
Between this course and the dunes are the main Glasgow - Ayr
railway line and Western Gailes golf course.
