Dunure Castle and maze
South Ayrshire

Just to the south of Dunure village on the Ayrshire coast, about two miles
north of Culzean Castle.

The castle is set in a park with decent parking (a small fee in the summer
season), toilets and play areas for the kids.

The dovecot was there to supply food (pigeons) when meat was scarce.

Inside the castle there are walkways and steps. This is looking back towards the
camera position of the top photo.

This has been totally overgrown for some years and is essentially invisible.
