By the A770 just south of Gourock and a mile or so north of Inverkip.

This newish play area - with a pirate theme - was opened in 2023. These were taken in July, 2024 looking north.

As you can perhaps see, depending on your screen size, dogs are not allowed in the play area.

It's proving very popular.

Except for the six-legged octopus, of course; that would have been silly.

An aerial runway, swings and picnic tables complete the set with ample parking.

It's on a bus route with a beach a few yards away, toilets and often an ice-cream van nearby.
