Irvine Bogside Golf Club - North Ayrshire
A couple of views of the clubhouse of Irvine Bogside Golf Club.
These lower angle views show the old abandoned Bogside Race Course and
the River Garnock in the middle distance.
On the right in the distance is the industrial estate on the Ardeer peninsula,
formerly the Nobel Explosives factory, as well as the Firth of Clyde and Arran.
There used to be a station here to serve Bogside Racecourse, right in
front of the clubhouse from this direction.
The railway is the main line between Ayr and Glasgow, this section
being between Irvine and Kilwinning.
