Crail Golfing Society - Balcomie and Craighead Links
Looking south-east and taken from the beach below the clubhouse with the Fife
Ness coastguard station in the distance.
Crail Golfing Society is one of the oldest golf clubs on the planet (to be
exact the 7th ever) having been formed by the Gentlemen of Crail
To put that in perspective, it was two years before both the death
of Bonnie Prince Charlie and the election of George Washington as
first US president.
Recent modifications to the clubhouse and the addition of Craighead Links
in 1998 have made this one of the best golfing challenges and best value
clubs to visit in the whole of Scotland.
In the top left you can just see the Fife Ness harbour and coastguard

From this side you're looking north-west over Craighead Links towards
Kingsbarns and St Andrews.
Reviewers named this club as one of the best in Scotland.
