Crail Golfing Society
Balcomie and Craighead Links
Crail Golfing Society is one of the oldest golf clubs on the planet (to be
exact the 7th ever) having been formed by the Gentlemen of Crail
in 1786 - nearly 240 years ago.
Recent modifications to the clubhouse and the addition of Craighead Links
in 1998 have made this one of the best golfing challenges and best value
clubs to visit in the whole of Scotland.
The road in the foreground runs down to the old tide mill and Fife Ness harbour
and coastguard station.
Reviewers named this club as one of the best in Scotland.
