In most of the photos you can see the 1st tee this side of the hotel and the 18th green with the Barry Burn running across the 18th and down through the picture.

Many golf clubs and societies have premises alongside the course. Carnoustie is on the roster for the Open golf championship.

There's a new starter's hut so these need to be re-taken.
