The Royal & Ancient - St Andrews, Fife
The embankment, the British Golf Museum and other local features.
From the British Golf Museum, the Royal & Ancient and the 1st and 18th
fairways all the way down past the Valley of Sin to Rusack's Hotel next to
the 18th fairway.
Hamilton Grand, which is now renovated, and the street called The Scores
run off to the left of the image and lead up to the castle and cathedral.
The same general view as the first image.
Most of the views of the Old Course were taken on Sundays, when
the course is closed to golfers and reverts to public land.
The 1st tee and 18th green.
The start and end of a round on the Old Course and
the R & A Clubhouse.
The Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews.
A private members' club not accessible to most golfers on
the Old Course.
The courses are public whereas the clubhouses
are generally for members only.
An older but wider view.
A general photo showing pretty well all of the interesting locations
in this rather select area.
