The Scores in St Andrews, looking south-west with the bandstand and the Martyr’s Monument.
This street has more than once been named as having some of the most expensive properties anywhere
They all face east, out to sea, but a narrow section of the Old Course is just visible by squinting to the left.
Alexander’s Restaurant and The Scores Hotel with the Champion’s Grill as well as, on the corner of Golf Place, Hamilton Grand;
with the bandstand, monument and the Bruce Embankment in the foreground.
Further round and looking along Golf Place to the west.
Golf Place is now officially (say the press) the most expensive street in Scotland.
The roof of the Royal & Ancient is in the bottom right.
