This view looks south-west over the town with the David Russell Apartments (student halls of residence) on the edge of
the town and Drumcarrow Crag, the hill with a TV mast 4 miles away on the horizon.
From the left you see the seafood restaurant and aquarium, the British Golf Museum, Royal & Ancient Clubhouse and
on round to Rusack’s Hotel and Grannie Clark’s Wynd passing across the Old Course 1st and 18th holes.
The foreground has the Bruce Embankment car park, the seawall where the Swilken Burn meets the sea at the end of the West Sands.
Also in this view are the caddie’s hut and the Old Course practice putting green as well as The Links - the street running alongside the 18th fairway.
