The Castle Course - St Andrews, Fife
The clubhouse of the Castle Course at St Andrews.
That's the 18th fairway running across the foreground and this angle shows
the natural shapes of the bunkers rather than the more formal smooth edges
and straight faces as found elsewhere.
From further to the right and showing the contours of the course.
This is one those subjects that would photograph a lot better in less harsh light.
From further back.
All of these photos were taken from above the Fife Coastal Path.
A closer view.
Which really shows off the unique shape of the building.
Is round unique? Maybe for a golf clubhouse.
