East Sands Leisure Centre, run by Fife Council. A swimming pool, children's pool, water chute and the usual gym facilities.

Next door is Roseangle House Nursery.

This complex of buildings holds St Andrews University departments. The Sea Mammal Research Unit and the Scottish Oceans Institute.

The harbour is behind and they're conveniently right next to the beach.
