The Kelpies Maquettes - at St Andrews, Fife
On the grass behind The British Golf Museum in St Andrews, Fife.
The maquettes are scale models of The Kelpies, the sculptures by the
M9 at the Falkirk Helix.
These are two composite photos to show the maquettes to their best advantage.
Sadly, the chosen location does not offer the best photographic opportunities.
The real Kelpies can be seen here:

You can just make out the little person to the left.
In the distance is the Old Course Hotel, about 600 yards (550 metres) away.
That's the back of the Royal & Ancient clubhouse on the left and the
top deck of the British Golf Museum is on the right.
It's not pie in the sky... And it's not a website either, before you look.
After four years no-one seems to have spotted this edit. At least, no-one
has mentioned it.
There are other similar edits in the images on this site if anyone
wants to make an effort to find them. Or not, as you wish.
This little chap is tricky to spot and is missed by many.
You can see him just below the mouth of the left-hand Kelpie.
