The ferry terminal at Largs.

The two ferries to and from Cumbrae and the P.S. Waverley tied up at the pier.

Neither of these ferries has an obvious bow or stern. They move and operate freely in either direction.

As she leaves the slipway the car access ramp closes.

Both ferries also have side thrusters to help them manoeuvre near to slipways, especially if dealing with tidal currents.
