Covenanter monument and Farm
Lochgoin, East Ayrshire

The monument is to John Howie, the author of a book about Covenanters
called “ The Scots Worthies” published around 1778(?).

To reach this spot you need be in the southern edge of the
Whitelee Moor wind farm. The access road is off the B764 about
two miles east of the M77 J6.

Covenanter church services (conventicles) are occasionally held here.
